Thanks to everyone who joined us for The Challenge Walk Off in September. We'd love to know what you've been doing since the walk to stay active and eat healthy. Share your tips and success stories here!
Is the Challenge Walk Off a yearly event? Is it everywhere? I recently joined, so I read about it here. Getting people together to walk sounds like a great idea.
Since the walk, I am working full time and working on my doctorate degree. I have started to eat healthier even with my busy schedule. I started walking with some friends. The mall where we walked is opened at 8am everyday for anyone to walk before it opens. I enjoy having that availability and a great support team. Go Phoenix Walk 4 Life! I have lost a total of 27lbs since then. I feel so much better.
I started running and really enjoyed that, but then stressed a tendon. Oh boy...onw step forward and two back. Hopefully in a few weeks I be back at it! :)
Hi Jean_60 - why don't you post to the 'find a challenge partner' board, and maybe you'll find someone to walk with and keep you motivated. Good luck!
i know this is going to sound corny, but truth b told, u can alway walk with god. sometime u have to b ur own motivator.good luck
Really just going to school, and studying, haven't walked in a while, no motivation, and no one to walk with at this time
